The ActivTek unit is mounted directly to the ventilation box in the distribution ducts in the upper part of the air handling system of the central ventilation system. Units convert airborne (H2O) and oxygen (O2) water into hydroperoxides and hydroxyls in the polluted air entering the outside, neutralizing all kinds of bacteria, viruses, volatile organic compounds, mold, fungus and smell in the air. In addition, sterilization is provided on all surfaces and materials by this process which is applied in the air which is emitted from the fresh air vent outlets of the ventilation ducts.

The Activtek 2000 is mounted on the ventilation ducts at the top of the fan (air handler).

If more than one unit is used, the devices are placed so as not to obstruct airflow.

DETERJAN NEDİR?

Petro-Kimya ürünlerinden elde edilen, temizleme ve arıtma gibi işlemlerde kullanılan, toz, sıvı ya da krem şeklinde olabilen kimyasal maddelere ''Deterjan'' denilmektedir. Deterjan, kir sökücü anlamına gelmektedir ve sabun dışındaki temizliyicilerin tümü deterjan sınıfına girmektedir.

Deterjanların yoğun bir şekilde kullanımına II. Dünya Savaşı sırasında başlanılmıştır. Fakat deterjan temizlik amacıyla değil, sabun yapımında kullanılan yağlar, askeri araç ve silahları yağlamak amacıyla kullanılmıştır. Deterjan, sabun gibi kirleri, yağ lekelerini sökerek bunların suda asılı durumda kalmalarını sağlamaktadır. Deterjan sabunun yaptığı her işi yapabilse de sabun birçok kullanım alanında deterjanın yerini alamamaktadır.

Deterjan, suyun yüzey gerilimini azaltarak, temizlenecek nesnenin içine girmektedir. Bu şekilde kirler ve yağlar oldukları yerlerden çıkarak tekrar kirlerin nesneye yapışmasını önlemektedir. Deterjanın en önemli özelliklerinden biri de köpüklenmedir. Deterjanlar sert sularda bile kolayca köpürebilen bir yapıya sahiptir.

DETERJAN TARİHİ

15. yy. da İtalya, Venedik ve Savona’da, 17. yy. da ise Fransa Marseilles’da bazı sabun imalatçıları ortaya çıkmaya başlamıştır. 18. yy. da Michel Eugene Chevreul’un gerekli kimyasal formülleri ortaya bilimsel olarak sabun yapımı gerçekleşmiştir. Bundan sonra sabun imalatçılığı bütün Avrupa ve Kuzey Amerika’ya kadar yayılmıştır. 19. yy. da buhar makinesinin icadıyla sabun yapımı çok büyük endüstriyel bir sektör haline gelmiştir. 1907 yılında bir Alman firması “Persil” adında yeni bir ürününün marketlerde yerini almasıyla yüzyıllar boyunca kullanılan sabun, deterjan kavramına dönüşmüştür. Persil, sabunda bulunan maddelere ilave olarak sodıum perborate içermekteydi. Bundan dolayı adı Perborate + Silikat yani “PERSIL” olmuştur. Sabunun sert sularda eritildiği zaman yeterince köpürmemesi nedeniyle 1930 yılında ABD’de ilk deterjanlar yapılmaya başlanmıştır. Ve o zamandan bu yana deterjan yapımı başlı başına bir sanayii dalına dönüşmüştür.

1950'li yıllarda toz bulaşık deterjanları, sıvı çamaşır deterjanları, sıvı elde bulaşık deterjanları, çamaşır yumuşatıcılar ve oksijen ağartıcılı deterjanlar 1960’lı yıllarda önyıkama için kir ve leke çıkarıcılar, 1970’li yıllarda sıvı el sabunları çamaşır yumuşatıcıları ve yumuşatıcılı deterjanlar, 1980’li yıllarda soğuk suda çözünebilen deterjanlar ve bulaşık makineleri için sıvı bulaşık deterjanları, 1990’lı yıllarda ise ultra toz ve sıvı detarjanlar, ultra yoğunlaştırılmış çamaşır yumuşatıcılar, bulaşık makineleri için jel bulaşık deterjanları market raflarındaki yerlerini almışlardır.

DETERJAN ÜRETİMİ

Deterjanlar kullanım amaçlarına göre sıvı veya toz deterjan olarak üretilmektedirler. Deterjanda bulunan yüzey aktif madde ve kuvvetini artıran “yapıcı” maddelerin oranı dokuma yıkamasında aynıdır. Sıvı deterjanda ise mineral kirinin az olduğu bulaşıklarda yüzey aktif maddenin oranı arttırılmaktadır. Yağlı kirleri yüzey aktif madde, katı tanecikleri ise yapıcı çözmektedir.

Toz deterjan üretiminde, temel deterjan maddesinden, köpük arttırıcı, yapıcı ve düzeltici kullanılarak bir hamur yapılır ve bu karışım bir kurutma kulesinde püskürtme yardımıyla kurutularak içi boş, toz kürecikler haline getirilir. Sıvı deterjanın üretimi ise toz deterjana oranla daha basittir.

DETERJANIN ZARARLARI

Günlük hayatımızda temizlik ve hijyen amacıyla sıklıkla kullandığımız deterjanın zararları olduğu bilinmektedir. Cilt üzerinde egzama ve mantar gibi hastalıklara sebep olmasının yanı sıra, içme suları ve deterjanla temizlenen bulaşıklarda kalan deterjan atıkları yoluyla da sindirim sisteminde de rahatsızlıklara neden olmaktadır. Ayrıca, deterjanlar kullanıldıktan sonra biyolojik olarak parçalanmadıkları için çevre kirliliğine de sebep olmaktadır.

SIVI DETERJAN

Türkiye'de çeşitli küçük atolyelerde sıvı deterjan üretimi yaygın şekilde yapılmaktadır. Ancak işin biraz daha derinine inilecek olunursa Lever, Benckiser gibi büyük firmalar tarafından sıvı deterjan üretimi ciddi şekilde yapılmaktadır.
Türkiye'de sıvı, toz ve krem deterjanların büyük bir kısmı, sektörde faaliyet gösteren 6 büyük firma tarafından üretilmektedir. Ülkemizde deterjan tüketiminin yılda 300. 000 ile 350. 000 ton civarında olduğu tahmin edilmektedir. Fakat, gerek deterjan üretim kapasitelerinin artışı, gerekse LABSA üreticisi olan firmaların kendi ürettikleri LABSA’yı, özellikle ihracat artışı dolayısıyla hem ihraç etmeleri hem de kendi deterjan üretiminde kullanmaları LABSA’ya olan talebin hızla artmasına neden olmaktadır.
